A couple weekends ago on a Sunday, I went to Tokyo Disney Sea. This is different from Tokyo Disney because it's its own separate theme park, but it's run by the disney corporation, all the rides are based on disney movies, and it's right next to Tokyo Disney. The big difference is the lack of the mouse, a more romantic feeling, and it's all built on the water, and instead of an evening parade, there is an evening watershow with Mickey Mouse of course. The water show had mickey come out and announce the water then go away. Then all these boats on the water started spraying water to the music, and a giant water fairy (a boat with giant fountains that resembled a fairy, came out. Then a giant dragon rose up from the ocean and it started spraying fire, and the water fairy conquers the giant dragon. If it weren't negative 5 degrees outside, it would have been awesome, but it was so cold. Then after the show, there was a fireworks show that was nice. Then we rode the Tower of Terror! There was also a more european feel to this park as well as a lot more shopping and shows than the main park. I thought the rides were better at Disney Sea. The favourite was Journey to the Center of the Earth, I think the second favourite was Tower of Terror, and the aladdin 3d show was cool too. I'm not afraid to say that Disney theme parks are fun, but I wish there were more thrill rides, maybe a couple of roller coasters with some death-defying loops, but it's cool.
Disney Sea has probably been the most exciting thing I've done lately. I've been to Tokyo to hang out. Last Sunday, I drove up to Tochigi and ate soba and walked around Izuru Mountain temple. It was really nice, but I always get turned around up there because all the roads look the same, but now I am positive I know the way so I can find it again easily.
On Saturday I had to go to the preschool/kindergartens happyoukai, which is kind of an end of the year performance where the kids sing and dance and show off what they learned throughout the year. I probably wouldn't have gone if I hadn't been invited (read forced). But the kids were really cute. The 5 year old kids did a stilt performance, where they walked up and down stairs on stills and had to maneuver throughobstacles on stilts. Every students could do it and it was pretty impressive. Some of them fell down every once in a while, but no one was hurt, except for one kid who was whisked off stage and whisked back on with a tissue balled up in his nose. When it came time for the kids to sing their english songs, they did really well on "one little, two little, three little indians" and then they sang "Do Re Mi," but they called me up on stage to sing with them, and it was a little awkward. Later on, my boss told me that I should have bowed when I entered and left the stage, but I couldn't even think to do it, I was so nervous. hundreds of parents and grandparents and at least one camera per kid. It's ok, during rehearsal, they didn't tell me to bow, but perhaps I should have known, afterall, I have been watching people do it for the last 3 1/2 years, but it never crossed my mind to bow. Theres always next year.
I missed training on Saturday, and I've been having weird dreams that I can't go to training anymore. I don't think I'll miss again.
What else is new??? I finally got wireless internet in my house! Now my wii and ds also can connect. I'm trying to clean out my house, I've done some superficial stuff, now I've got to start working on the difficult stuff. I have to take all the clothes I want to throw away, and fold them, tie them up in string and then bag them. I have to do the same with all my futons and everything else I want to throw away. Then, I've got to prepare anything else I want to take to the dump. It's going to take a while. After I finish doing all that, I'll move it all into my back room, then get a big truck from town hall to come and pick it up, then take it to the various places for throwing things away. There are some other things I want to throw away too, but I've been told they would charge me, that is my old washing machine, an old tv, skiis and ski boots. Anyway, after I've finished throwing everything away that I don't need in my house, then I can start really cleaning up. I've got to air out all my closets, clean any mold buildup that might be in there, and then prepare them for storing my current futons. It's going to take a while, but I just have to do get it done. It's driving me crazy having all that unnecessary stuff cluttering up my home. I'll have so much space, and less stress too.
The weather is starting to warm up, I don't have to use my heaters as much, but a little in the morning and in the evenings still.
BTW, Happy birthday to my brother Dylan. I can't believe you are already 18 years old. They grow up so fast (tear).
Ok, I think I've rambled enough for one post.
Later.
Have another great weekend. Sounds as though you are enjoying yourself.
Housecleaning is hard and boring.
